Sharpmania hires their newest expert in Relocation and Facility Management while further expanding its team

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Didier Zemp, Specialist in Relocation, International Mobility, Facility Management, Change and Operations Management who joins our team to strengthen our Facility Management Pillar and develop the global Mobility service.

Raised in an international environment, Didier understands very well the challenges of an expatriation. He got his first taste as an « expatriate » when he was 2 years old when his family was transferred to Illinois in the USA, where they lived for 4 years. Following the USA, they lived in Spain and then made their way back to Geneva. At the age of 25, Didier moved to the UK for 2 ½ yeas where he worked for a finance company.

Didier holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and most recently a Diploma in Diversity and Inclusion – both from the University of Geneva. He also has a certification in GMS (Global Mobility Specialist), an education course provided by the leading relocation association, Worldwide ERC.

Didier started his journey within the relocation industry in 2002 when he became the Branch Manager of an American global provider company. He spent 4 years in Lausanne to restructure, develop the business, the processes and served the customers with utmost professionalism. Later, he developed relationships with the HR professionals and assisted them by developing and putting in place best practices, general services, and quality services processes. After Lausanne, Didier came back to Geneva to work for various relocation companies offering global mobility services. At the same time, he developed skills in Facility Management and led several projects, national and international for some major organisations. Most of Didier’s clients were in prestigious organisations, NGOs, local and internationals companies.

At Sharpmania, Didier will be responsible for all the global mobility’s aspect and will also work in the Facility Management area with other consultants on some major international projects.

Didier is bilingual in French and English and has some knowledge of Spanish and Italian.

In his spare time, Didier likes to ride one of his motorcycles (in particular an old-timer) on the weekends with his friends.  He also enjoys spending his time at his house in Provence and holidays as a skipper on sailing boats visiting the wonderful Mediterranean and Caribbean Islands.
